Default is tmo bleeding customers?

so after news of this merger, im sure it shock the confidence of tmo customers. it certainly has for me.

so, does any know if tmo is bleeding customers? i would think so. i would also think that people would jump ship within the next 12 months as their 2 yr contract expires.

me personally, i thought about jumping ship, but i dont get recpetion with ver, sprint, or att (and i live in the la area...lol, iono wtf is going on with the other 3). so im stuck with tmo until the inevitable happens...

I jumped shipped and have known a couple of other people who did.
Verizon is the only other carrier that I get good coverage with here so it really wasn't a big choice for me.

I think T-Mobile is going to start losing customers who are reluctant to renew contracts with a company whose future is uncertain. They also may have issues gaining new customers for the same reason.

they've been bleeding customers and this is the main reason they were up for sale.

people need to realize, this merger isn't going to get approved tomorrow. it's going to take a minimum of 1 year, projected 1 1/2 years... so everyone can upgrade and worry about all that on their next upgrade.

heck, at&t has even said it wouldn't be a problem for t-mo customers to keep their current pricing structure.

I am gone. Not sure if I will wait until my contract is up, try to get out early, or wait until the merger. Not sure if I am off to Sprint or Verizon. Probably to Sprint, especially if Verizon goes to tiered data plans, and Sprint remains unlimited.

I have no idea what you mean by Bleeding??????
It usually means someone who sucks money off people without the person getting anything in return. If we pay and get service I'm not sure how that is bleeding?

Anyway .... Please feel free to explain because I might just be dense

i'm just hanging in there. No use getting all worked up. If it happens it happens and then I switch if I HAVE to for some reason. Not sure what jumping ship now accomplishes except PAYING more now!

you know the idea of hemorrhaging? it occurs when you lose a huge amount of blood, which you need. so in this case, tmo is bleeding customers, which means is tmo losing a lot of customers. the use of bleed implies a sense of immediacy and can lead to much dire situations if nothing is done...

maybe it is an american idiom?

yeah, it's bleeding when 2 out of the 4 major carriers are losing customers by the hundreds of thousands, especially since the other 2 are gaining by the millions.

we as humans need blood to survive like carriers need customers to survive.

I can't stand AT&T, I know it's not the same AT&T as it was years ago. Maybe just the name makes me not like it. I live in South Florida and when I first moved here 16 years ago I had AT&T and the service was terrible. I had other providers and am happy with TMO. My landline/ISP is AT&T (old Bellsouth), ever since AT&T bought them the service level is horrible.

My current TMO contract is up in November and do not plan on upgrading. I will keep what I have and wait until RIM releases new devices with QNX (hopefully early 2012), if not then I will look to see what Verizon has to offer.
