Default Technical question on changing phones

This question will show how absolutely tech stupid I am
Please answer like your talking to a 4 year old!

If I buy a new tmo phone and take my sim card from my old phone to my new phone....... What exactly transfers? I' m asking this because I don't want to lose some programs I have. In particular I have an program that can be reloaded free but I want the version I CURRENTLY have. It would cost me BIGTIME if I lost the version I have or screwed with my setup.

LOL as you can see I'm a real mess. I have no idea what to call the program
I would call it an app but is it still an app if it doesn't show up on the screen???? Maybe I should call it a download?????

Your sim card transfer your cell service.
You will need to associate your new pin on your BIS account to get your data working properly.

Then you can use Desktop Managers device switch wizard to clone your BlackBerrys.

Please note if going from a OS4 or OS5 device not everything will work in OS6.

If the apps don't show up you can back them up with BBSak and load them manually on to your new device.

Good luck!
