Default T-Mobile works now with Facebook Mobile!

Just thought I'd let everyone know. I know most are probably use the app, but if you want to get text updates on certain people's status, you can do that now!

T-Mobile is now listed as a supported carrier in Facebook Mobile! Yay!

I've been waiting for a long time for this to happen!

I've had the app for ever. I personally like it better. It's more convenient.

It's about time and it should have happened a long time ago. I personally would use the app but after 1.6 installed on my 8900, my battery started draining so fast I had to deleted. It surprises me that no one else had this issue. BTW: After facebook 1.6 was uninstalled, my battery life improved.

Thanks so much for the update, I thought that was odd when I checked it wasnt supported.

Also, thanks for the 1.6 battery drain issue - I'll look out for that when/if I do upgrade. Im always scared of that!

The new FB app stinks. It's too messy. So much useless information that doesn't need to be there. You have to go through a longer process just to read a notification update rather than just clicking on the FB app.

I too am thinking about dumping the FB app now that FB supports T-Mobile.

You can set up texts for just about anything...messages, friend requests, wall posts/comments, pokes...everything! And then you can respond via text.
I also use socialscope to read my friends' statuses.

Yep, I'm uninstalling the app.

I don't mess with the apP. Am I the only person who prefers the mobile site?

I prefer the mobile site too. For me it is faster on the mobile site than the app.

I have the app installed on my 8320. I can't read my messages I get in my Inbox because there isn't one on the app. I know I am not blind. I use the mobile version of Facebook to read my messages. Thanks for the heads up.

I downloaded the app and was all excited until I realized you can't use it with WiFi only (No data plan). Back to mobile website for me! .... sigh......but it's nice to know that Tmo is finally supported. About time!
