Default T-Mobile users please help

I would like know how the network is. How good of a service is. How's the customer service. I'm currently with Verizon and getting to the point where its just too much. I'm paying for two lines both blackberry's. I'm paying $159.69 a month and that's with a company discount and no verizon navigator on each line.

I'm wondering if someone here with T-Mobile with similar two lines will tell me what they're averaging a month. I'd check online but had to cancel internet service. Girl friend just lost her job and we've been cutting back. I don't want any flaming, just some honest answers.

I mean $159.69 with a 21% company discount included minus VZ navigator, it scares me how much I would really be paying.

Thanks in advance guys please just want some honest opinions

I've been a tmob customer for years. I love them and have no intention to ever switch. Customer service is phenomenal. Service is great where I am. I travel a lot through Illinois and get pretty decent coverage. Rarely do I get EDGE, but when I do its pretty strong EDGE.

I have 2 lines - 600 minutes for $50
Unlimited web on both for $50
Unlimited sms/mms on both for $5
So basically $105 + insurance x 2 + taxes and such, I pay about $135.

T-Mo is going to be cheaper than Verizon. But you will need to make sure they have good coverage where you work and play. I am very pleased with T-mo, I pay about $160 but that is for 2 lines with unlimited everything, tax, tag, and title.

Coverage in my area is excellent Tampa Bay Area!!

You can get mush less expensive plans than I have as I am about maxed out

It depends which route you want to go. There's Even More and Even More Plus. Even More Plus is cheaper but there's no phone subsidy. EMP is $109.99 for

I'd just go with Sprint and use this EPRP plan. With T-Mobile, you're either going to have to eat the costs for both of the phones up front, or only be $20/month cheaper than Verizon. EPRP is $109.99 for 1600 minutes, unlimited texts and data for $109.99 a month. I'd get an Evo personally, the extra $10/month is worth it but it may not be in your finances right now. A heck of a lot better than the slider and the 9650.

I've been with Tmobile for 11 years. Their customer service is phenomenal. They've always bent over backwards to help me with any problem I've ever had. I have never had a problem with coverage - just check the coverage map on their webpage to see how it is where you are.

I have 5 lines + 3 data plans. I don't think I could get cheaper rates anywhere else.

I've never had one issue with T-Mobile service in the 4 years I've had it unless I go to the middle of nowhere where mighty Verizon struggles. Coverage is YMMV, but one thing is assured, AT&T is generally known to suck. Even if you don't have an iPhone.

Completely not true in all cases. Like others have pointed out, it all depends on where you live. I pay little and get a whole lot...

Example, I paid $.99 for my lunch today. Make fun of me, but it tastes good, and its good quality and I'm full.

Hyundais are half the price of Lexus, but the quality is damn near the same.

I dumped Sprint for T-mo about a year ago, and have had no problems. Coverage in my area is good, I really haven't had any problems, and just for fun I frequently "Check Status" via my bluetooth headset when I'm out and about and the signal strength is always good or excellent

I pay about $70/mo but that is on the old "My Faves" plan which they don't offer anymore.

I've been with T-Mo since they were VoiceStream (close to 10 years).
Customer service is great; coverage is YMMV.

cherry: You get unlimited data on a $69 family plan? I have the same plan and NO data.

I love TMO. 6 years now. UMA, excellect service, cheaper rate plans, and the best freakin cell phone customer service there is. If there is good signal in your area (TMO website) then go for it.

How are some of you getting such great deals from T-mob? I have a fam plan (my faves 400) with 2 BB's and all said and done my bill is $160/month. And that includeds their less than stellar coverage in NJ.

To the OP: It depends where you are when it comes to service. You really need to check out the coverage in your area.
