Question T-Mobile USA MMS

Hi everyone! I have a Bold 9700 with TMO USA. For some reason, since this afternoon, my picture messages have been coming in small and rescaled. I got this phone back in December and never had any issues til today. I know that many unlocked phones have this problem with TMO not recognizing it in the system so it automatically resizes it. But my phone never acted this way til today. I have another friend who is experiencing the same issue. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks!

Try a battery pull before you do anything else.

Thanks guys. I tried that. I also called TMO to see if something was up. But it seems like it's not only affecting me but my other 3 TMO lines (2 non Blackberry). We're all receiving small, tiny MMS as of today. They even took off and put back my data plan and still the same..

Can I please ask if you can test it out for me? To send yourself a pic and see if it resizes? Thanks so much!

I got a couple small MMS today. I'm using a T-Mobile 9700 and the MMS were from my mom, who is on Verizon w/ a Droid.

It's so frustrating! I called some other friends on TMO and they're experiencing the same thing today. So I'm assuming it's TMO itself and not my phone?

I just tested this out on my phone, and my brothers phone. We both have Blackberry Curves 8320's, and the pictures are indeed small and resized. Something on their end would be my guess.

Yea, I just asked another friend who has an iPhone to send me a pic. It came in small. A 91kb pic turned into a 4kb image.

It seems like this problem is across many platforms, and either happens into TMO-TMO messaging or TMO-other carrier.

My thought is that this could be a T-Mobile outage of some sort.

That's what I'm thinking also. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. It's sad to see these tiny images. Some of them I can't even make out. Lol.

Well I have tmobile and a bb curve 8320 so I decided to send myself some pics that I had originally gotten from someone else sending them to me, and they came out tiny too! I know that the other day they came thru to my phone FINE and now their all blurry/tiny/horrible! I also got my husband to send me some pics from his phone (diff carrier) and those came in all blurry resized too! What's wrong with tmobile?! They better get this fixed FAST! Sorry I can't help you with your problem, but thanks for letting me know abot it! Had I gotten a pic today and seen it all resized wrong I would have really started to think something was wrong with my phone! Lol! I'm glad I'm not alone!

Thanks for posting this. We did some testing to create a few examples, and reported it. It is being looked into now, and they are collecting more examples. If you happen to call in about it, mention that they are collecting examples so the rep will know where to look to find it, as it will save some time in troubleshooting.
