[QUOTE=mandony;1741160]You have a Bold but TM does not have a Bold.
On your PC go to my.tmobile.com.
then login your phone# or account #.
You enter your phone as any blackberry phone, like one of the "curve" models.
go to <messaging> <set up blackberry email>
go to <service books>
go to<send service books>

dude i dont even really see an option to where you can enter a curve model on their site, let alone following the remainder of your advice to get tmobile service books on a 9530.

That's the problem with dredging up old posts. T-Mo changed their website. Login to my.t-mobile.com with your phone number and password. In the middle of the page it will show your old phone or a placeholder image. Underneath it will have a button "Upgrade Phone", and a link that says "Not Your Phone or Device?" - click that link. It'll ask which phone you have, checkmark BlackBerry, scroll down to the 9780 and click the button underneath it that says "Select". Now the main page should show your phone as the Bold 9780.

It'll take you back to the main screen. Hover on Connect&Share, it'll raise a banner underneath, mouse over and click on Configure E-Mail. On the left side of that screen is a section titled "Settings". Click Change Device, it should show that you have a 9530 and show its PIN. If not, click Detect New Device and follow the prompts. Also on the left you can click Service Books, which takes you to a page that reads "Not receiving email?" Click the box that says "Send Service Books".

This is the correct way. Select the 9780 as your phone, then follow hubermania's steps to send service books to your phone.

Even though this is only a month old, it is already out of date. "Connect&Share" is nowhere to be found on T Mobile's website.
