Yeah, my brother and his family are with T-mobile. It would suck to have his personal info compromised.

I hope this is a hoax. I've already got enough on my plate, worrying about my personal information being sold doesn't need to be added to it.

I smell a class action lawsuit.

If you read the update it says "T-Mobile can't confirm or deny whether this actually happened," which usually means it happened.

This sucks!

The personal info on my account is all messed up though...

It has my dad's name on the account, but it's MY phone number and school address, which is in another state. No DOBs or other info given...

I hope it's just a hoax. We'll see.

Please let it be a hoax, because I just had my personal info stolen (hacked) with TD Ameritrade, and if it happens with T Mo I'm going to have to shoot someone...

Those guys are bold as heck, they cant be that smart either. Calling other wireless carriers and offering to sell them this info? That takes balls.

Hahahaha, I sure hope you're kidding, considering the owner of Lifelock...who uses Lifelock...had his information stolen after challenging the entire friggin' world to just TRY it, posting his SSN on billboards and trucks.

I live in Ohio. When the State of Ohio had some laptops stolen. The state paid for 5 years of identity theft protection for me.

I'm not worried. But, if T-Mobile does find out who all is affected, I would believe, for the best interest of the company, they would do something along those lines to protect their customers.

You never know though.
