Default t-mobile roaming on wind mobile

I'm not an expert at this, but I know Wind Mobile uses the same 3G bands as T-Mobile. Normally if you go up into Canada you roam on Rogers. Is it possible to get select a network on your Blackberry so you could roam on Wind for your 3G coverage?

I would call TMO and see who their carrier agreement is with for roaming. They might have the agreement with Rogers, and it wil be cheaper.

Also where are you headed too? Wind is only running in the major cites and reliable service is good to fair.

II'd be in places like Toronto, Montreal, and Quebec City. I'm pretty sure Wind is running there.

Hello,
I know T-Mobile is our roaming partner when I go to the us my wind phone is on your network. I assumed it would be the same otherwise. We only have coverage in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary so far but continue to expand daily. Let me know how it turns out if not unlock the phone and use a WIND sim all our plans can be prepaid as well.

Cheers,
Devin

Yup. My phone usually flips between robbers and wind depending on area. (Oops...rogers). If I'm in TO where wind coverage is good and 3G, I usually force it to wind if rogers shows. Outside of the major cities, rogers graces us with edge
