I just called a Tmo Rep to ask, he said he didn't know anything of this. So, if it's true I will try a store on that day or call back a Tmo Rep on that day to see.

It's a possibility.

I've been reading over on other forums and there's talk that T-Mo has told its reps that the stores are opening 2 hours early that day so they need to be there earlier!

It's anyone's guess what is going to happen. I'm guessing it may be the release of a new phone with some promotions on the side.

Especially when you already have a family plan.

Or if you're single.

I'm not single but I wouldn't get a Family Plan with my boyfriend just to get a free phone. That's just asking for trouble.

Here's what I know:

- All employees must be available to work on June 19th for a "big event"
- Stores are opening early
- Inventory levels are increased at all stores

They've told us nothing relevant beyond that. I'm hoping it's a worthwhile sale.

One would think that if they had "Something big" planned for this Saturday, they might have started advertising it by now, for example during the NBA Finals coverage. Especially if it is a "One Day Only" sort of thing.

How's that? All you need to do is add a line. It would be nice if they included upgrades too.

I already have 2 lines and have no use for another one, let alone 2 since my fiance wants a new phone as well.

Would it kill them to give exisiting customers the option to upgrade early to take advantage of this deal? I can upgrade right now to 9700's for $129/per phone with a 2 year agreement, yet johnny come lately can get those same phones with a 2 year agreement for free.

Heading off the iPhone 4 launch. A big push to grab some new blood.

With the economy in shambles, this a GREAT way to get new business. Without the initial costs of the phones being a hurdle, few people will look elsewhere for new service.
