Default T-Mobile long hold time

Has anyone else been experiencing long hold times to get a hold of Customer Service? Is there a problem with T-Mobile's system? For the past 2 weeks I've had to call Customer Care for different reasons and it's always taken me over 20 minutes to get a rep on the phone. And usually when I do get connected it seems like the calls are being connected in another country.

Expect some longer wait times for customer care, tech care, and others. As usual, T-Mobile is restructuring it's workforce which may mean at times that you will have long waits. They are always restructuring. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it's a hiccup.

Also, there have been new device launches that have cause an impact on the phone lines (think HD2 and myTouch 3G Slide) that have added to the call volumes. It may be a little inconveniencing right now, but call wait time should get better after the this week. Expect some hold time due to the free phone day today.

I use to call in when I had trouble, but now I talk to a representive online through their chat feature. You could always try that too.

Another issue that people may encounter depends on the time of day that you call along with call volumes. If you call late at night, there is a point when customer care shuts down and tech support takes over. That means that all customers with call with tech issues and billing issues get thrown into the same ques which equates to a longer hold time.
