Question Are T-mobile Fave Fives effected by leaked OS's???

I am new to t-mobile, but have done several OS upgrades in the past, most of those being leaked (when you own a storm it controls your life looking for the next disappointment of a leak).

My wife and I switched from Verizon, and left a large amount of people behind and cannot do without the fave five numbers.

My questions are:
1. What happens to the fave fives option in the menu when you install a leaked software?
2. Does it cease to exist in the menu?
3. Do the calls to the people I have selected as my fave five continue to "not" count against my anytime minutes?
4. (Most Importantly) Does a leaked OS effect my fave five in any way?

Thank you for your patience as I make the transition to what is becoming my favorite phone I have ever owned. Also Thanks ahead in advance!

I haven't had issues with the myfaves program on my phone with leaked OS.

Even if your faves software gets messed up or is gone, your myfaves calls are still free.

Artemis,

After you upgraded were your fave fives still present (i.e. the icon that allows you to show or hide them on the main screen)?

Thanks in advance!

Yea your calls are still free as long as you didn't change them in T-Mobile's system. The display is just a GUI for the user and not having it does not effect your minutes. When I worked for T-Mobile I used a HTC MDA for the longest time with myfaves even though it wasnt technically a MyFaves phone. I don't even use my MyFaves display anymore now that OS 5.0 is out and has customizable SMS ringtones since thats the only reason I used the display before to see if the SMS was from the wife before I opened my SMS and MMS folder

Yes, they were.

I can't speak for the latest OS leaks since I upgraded to the unlimited loyalty plan and didn't need myfaves anymore.

Even if the icon is not present, your myfaves calls are still free. You would just need to go onto the tmo site to change them.

Thank you for you responses guys. I guess with the answers I'm getting I have one more question.
Is there a way to add or change the faves through my.tmobile.com, or via some other method if they are not showing up on the phone?

P.S. Thank you for your patience. The storm forum I came from was so hostile. It's nice to be able to ask a reasonable question without feeling like you are volunteering to dive head first into a smoldering bonfire. Thanks.

Edit: my question was answered before posting. Thanks again!
