I just signed into T-Mobile and the plans we've been hearing off on "Project Dark" are now available!

So they beefed up the price on the BlackBerry plans. Its $40.00 for unlimited web and messaging now, before it was $35.00.

It's $40 if you do the "even more" plan with the two year contract. It's packaged as $30 if you do the "even more plus" plan without contract.

I wonder if people with contract would drop their contract to no contract?

No contract will for sure attract Metro PCS subscribers.

From my understanding, customers with contracts can switch over to any of the Even More Plus plans but check this out. You have to pay a $35 activation fee and still fulfill your contract. On Family Even More Plus plans, you have to pay $35 activation on the first two lines(meaning $70) and you still have to fulfill your contract to the end. It just doesn't require for you to renew your contract or extended. It seems confusing because it is. LOL Call CS and find out all the details before you decide. Don't quote me on this for I am somewhat confused myself.

Yeah, that is pretty confusing. I have read several posts on this matter and I'm yet to be able to get a concrete understanding of this lol (why do we have to pay $35 just to switch to a plan?) Damn, seems like like T is trying to get money out of this at the same time... I mean really, why pay a $35 fee to switch to plan a that you could potentially be paying more or less (depending on the plan and previous plan) when all your doing is just switching (same thing we would do prior to these new plans) this is just confusing as you said LOL for some reason the unlimited plan doesn't feel "unlimited"

So, I have contacted T-Mobile today and asked them about the plans... If you want to switch over to the new plans, you need to pay 35$ Activation fee for each line... I think it's BS but to some people it is well worth it because the plan that I can get is First 2 lines at 109.99 and 3rd line at 5.00 and have Unlimited Text/Data included with the 109.99 with 750 minutes. Overall, I would have to pay 115+Tax for 3 lines and have Unlim text/data/mobile2mobile/nights&weekends/750min shared.

I am currently paying 125+tax with 19.99 unlim bb data/9.99 family unlim text/700min shared/10.00 3rd line addon

In your case, I don't think the $10 savings per month is worth giving up full handset discounts on your three lines. With that new plan, you will have to pay full retail. 8900 is currently $499, so think about it.

I just got off the phone with a rep as well a bit earlier and all this is true. I also asked if he knew about the 9700 and he had no clue what I was talking about. Lol
