I haven't had any significant issues with VZW CSRs. But, after spending much of my day yesterday on the phone wth them, TMO REALLY impressed me. Not only were they useful, but they were very kind and patient.

What has impressed me with T-Mo CS is that many of the reps are not only kind and courteous, they really DO help you. They aren't just sitting there reading off some script, if they don't know the answer(s), I've known reps to actually go out and find me the info, and *really* ask around until they can get me the help I need. Now that's service!

So yeah this doesn't really surprise me at all.

I have been with Big Red for 15 years and I have found that their customer service goes in cycles. Every couple of years, it gets really bad for about 6-8 months. Then it comes back around. I am trying to build up people that I interface with so that when the next cycle comes, I can contact people directly.

That's probably when the senior management changes, and it takes time for the new management to get back to what the previous management used to do.

I've been with T Mobile for some time, since 2002 or 2003. I've used ATT and Verizon for work and T Mobile has always been great to me.

I've been with TMO since Voicestream days, and customer care has been consistently excellent -- friendly, receptive, helpful. When 1st line customer care can't handle the problem, getting bumped to either a blackberry or PDA customer care rep is great -- knowledgeable and helpful. All in all - consistently excellent customer service.

My vote goes for T-Mobile. I couldn't be happier with their service.

T-Mobile rocks.

I am not surprised at all. My first experience with cellular world was with AT&T. Granted my area was not AT&T best coverage 8 years ago. Anyhow, fast forwarding 7 years later, I never look back. I got my 5 lines really tight with TMO till they take away UMA service completely ;-). That is I don't mind TMO taking away free UMA international call.

I've been with T-Mobile since 2003 and have always been impressed with their customer service... Even more so lately since I switched to BB.

I've been with TMO before there was even TMO, back before Voicestream all the way back to Omnipoint. Must be 12+ years. Their CS has always been good.

In SE PA, everyone I know who has VZW complains bitterly about CS, but will never change.

Only been with T-Mobile a couple of years, but I have never had as good of CS anywhere, not just with my cell phone provider, but anywhere and that is saying something.
