Default T-Mobile CSR's really make me wonder....

I called T-Mobile the other day to get them to send me an unlock code. I am going to be going to Saudi Arabia on a 1 year contract.

We confirm the phone and the IMEI, and she says that she'll get the unlock department to send me the unlock code in 24 hours.

I get the e-mail with the unlock code and attempt to unlock it. Use 2 tried out of 10, and it won't unlock.

I go back and read the e-mail....they sent the unlock code for my Pearl that I had in 2006. and I currently have an 8900.

Now I have to call them BACK and wait another 24 hours for an e-mail. Pain in the rear.

TMO's always been great to me. Explain the situation to them, maybe you can get a fast forward on the new e-mail.

There isn't a way to get it any faster than 24 hours. But the thing is that you are only suppose to be allowed one per 90 days. I hope they get it straightened out for you.

I have found that T-Mobile is usually quick to admit a mistake and correct it! Atleast in my prior experience with their CS. I am sure they will allow you to have the correct unlock code without having to wait another 90 days. They will fix it for you.

Yeah they are very good about correcting mistakes. When I got my unlock code I had no issues what so ever which is good.

Good luck with your issue though. Sometimes they can be pretty tough depending on the CSR you get.
