Default T-Mobile the cheapest of the 4 carriers?

T-Mobile's cheapest smartphone plan - $50/month for 500 mins, unlimited texts and 2gb of data

Sprint's cheapest smartphone plan - $70/month for 450 minutes, unlimited texting and unlimited data

AT&T's cheapest smartphone plan - $$75/month for 450 minutes, unlimited texting, and 200mb of data

Verizon's cheapest smartphone plan - $90/month for 450 minutes, and 2gb of data

Wow, you're saving almost half of what you'd pay on Verizon. Gotta say I'm so glad I have coverage everywhere I live and aren't stuck with just one carrier in my area.

What does T-Mo do when you hit your 2gb of data? I know in their new no contract phones they advertise unlimited everything but their unlimited data is 4g for the first 100mb which is nothing and then they slow you down to 2g speed, wow no deal there.

Looks like the only company that can compete with tmo is sprint and only bc they don't slow your data speed, still $20 more tho...I know tmo has the fastest data speeds in every place I travel to

honestly if you are going over 2GB on a cell phone you need to be slowed down. if at&trash would of implemented that when the iphone first came out their network wouldnt be in such bad shape.

2GB is more than the average user uses a month and it's not like you can't call and bump your plan up and have it prorated...

If you are traveling and want to watch a game or two or perhaps some TV, you will soon reach 5 GB.

The tmobile value plans are cheaper because they subsidize the plan price instead of the handset. Sprint is actually more than $70 because you have to add another $10 on top for the "advanced" data fee (they aren't that cheap at all really anymore).

It's a matter of coverage though. There's a lot of areas where tmobile isn't going to have any coverage and someone like VZ will. It's a lot more expensive, but based on where you live not everybody has the same options.
