Default T-Mobile AAA Discount

Didn't know if you all knew this but T-Mobile just started a new policy and you can get 12% off your bill by showing them your AAA card. I think it's brand new because I was leaving the store after being told NO by the manager and he came out to my car and apologized. I Figured someone out there would find this useful!

Oh that's good to know JRT. Another reason to get AAA because I was thinking about joining AAA for a while now. Thanks for the info.

What about an AAA membership id or something? I'd love to do this by phone.
Is it a recurring monthly discount?

Thanks for the heads up! I'll need to remember that in the future when my fiance no longer drives for a towing company and we pick up AAA.

do you have to mention anything special to get the 12%? I am a AAA member and have been for years.

This sounds like a discount you get, when making a purchase in the T-mobile store.

Be nice if this were a discount you could get on the monthly phone bill.

So for those asking if this is something that can be done over the phone. Not likely, unless you were buying from a Corp Store.

The OP didn't specify if it was a monthly recurring discount or just a one-time thing when you walk into a corp store.

I have my membership ID from AAA and am calling T-Mobile now to see if this will work.

Okay, just got off the line with the Business customer support.

Apparently it IS a new promotion...you get 12% off your bill when you provide your membership ID from AAA.

I wasn't able to get it because I have the "Unlimited Loyalty" plan. I am skeptical because I got the Freelancers discount when I had the same plan, so why not this one?

I'll try back again later.

Called and was told to go to www.tmobile/corpdiscount and download the PDF, fill it out and email it to them.

The information on the PDF looks to be applicable to employees of AAA, not customers.

Which department were you guys forwarded to?

The problem with this program is that you must take a plan.

"Subscribers on an expired contract with a non-current rate plan or currently on a Flexpay, Pre-paid, or Kid Connect rate plan must select an active post-pay voice or data plan to receive corporate benefits. "

If you have a grandfathered plan with no contract then you are better that taking a new plan.

Do you still have the freelancers union discount? If you do you will not be able to add on this discount without removing that one first. You cannot have more than one corporate discount on your account.
