Default T-Mo in NYtimes

Did anyone see the small article in the NYTimes about t-mobile's no contract plans?

I don't have a link yet but once I get it, I'll post it.

I think it's cool that the article was there to explain the cheaper no-contract plans and how that can save you money over time.

However, it did say without a contract, you could get unlim everything for $60, while it's all $80 on a contract. Isn't this part wrong?

Didn't see it. Interesting that the NY Times runs articles about T-Mobile's favorable rate plans while Business Week magazine runs front-cover articles about how bad AT&T's service is.

Yeah I saw the Business Week mag about the iPhone and ATT. It was so true - their service stinks!

By the way, I just posted a link above if you're interested in the NYTimes article.

Seems off , I would think it would be opposite considering some contract customers have been with tmo for years, like myself.

Well I could have went with a no contract plan having I went with Nexus One phone for like 600 smacks, lol!

I wish I would have known this I might have went that route. Good thing T-Mobile has been pretty good to us around here. Just did another 2 years with them.

I thought the no-contract (EM+) plans were $80 for unlimited everything, and contract plans are $100 for the same thing.

The EM+ doesn't subsidize phones so that's how they can give you the lower prices.

It just made me laugh to see "$60 unlimited everything on t-mobile for an android phone"..haha wow! Sign me up!

Yes, that part is a boo-boo. The $60 Even More plan is for 500 minutes, text and web.
$80 for unlimited talk, text and web.

But the example of the Even More Plus contract phone was also based on the 500 minute
Even More plan, with $30 web, and $10 text add-ons.
