Default AT&T drops merger bid!

AT&T kills $39 billion bid for T-Mobile - Dec. 19, 2011

Hopefully TMO gets their 6 billion and invests it in major network upgrades!

True, but DT doesn't have the "low subscriber base" excuse to hide behind now

it's actually $4 Billion, $1b in spectrum, $3b in cash. T-Mo will get the $1b in spectrum, but DT is using the $3b to pay off their debt, according to what their CEO said on a conference call this morning.

I am so glad the merger is dead. Maybe TMO will start carrying the iPhone now.

Tmobile is still going to try and sell... the only thing that would have changed is the potential buyer

Eventually feel the name T-Mobile will change, but we will be sold to someone else. Like other posts I mentioned. If I get good service and bill stays the same, then whats really in a name?

Call it whatever they want!
