Sync blows up with Outlook and Tmobile BB 8900

Got a call from a friend who said she just got a brand new 8900 TMobile replacement BB. She tried to sync with Outlook and it stops about 170 into here 400 contacts and will not continue. Her old one did not do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd try reloading the latest 8900 OS onto the device. Backup first, then wipe, reinstall and try again to re-sync. Last time I had a syncing error it was because of the OS.
