Default Static with 9700
I just switched to Tmobile got a blackberry 9700. I noticed the static immediately. Took it back to Tmobile and got a replacement... Same static. Does anyone else experience this??

No I never had that with my 9700. Perhaps it is a signal issue in your area?

I've heard of this being caused by the headphone jack cutting in/out. Do you get the same static with headphones plugged in? If not, it's the jack. But again, you already got a replacement phone so I can't imagine 2 phones back-to-back with the same problem. I would take it to a kiosk and show them your problem.
