Sony Ericsson T700 on TMOs 3G

Hello everyone! I've been thinking of getting the Sony Ericsson T700. I'm concerned if it will work on TMos 3G network. According to the specifications it says it supports UMTS/HSDPA 2100 networks. I'm also planning on keeping my 8320 with my BB data since I'm still undecided if I want the 9700 or another 3G device that comes along in 2010. Can I leave my BB data plan and still use the T700 for data/internet? I'd like to be able to switch devices. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You should be able to use your BB plan for data on the other phone without issue. The 3G will not work however, as T-Mobile uses UMTS 1700 MHz. You will be limited to EDGE

Thanks for your response! At least I can keep my BB data plan. I should just get the 9700 instead.

Yeah it is sort of a waste if you have 3G in your area not to be able to use it on a phone.
