Default some questions about flexpay on t-mobile...

i had a monthly 400 minute and unlimited blackberry data plan for about 7 months. i also had about $1.60 left under my flex credit. i stop paying my monthly bill, but i can still make call using my flex credit...i believe, it is $.20/minute. my questions are these:

1. will my phone still work if i just refill my flex credit instead of paying my monthly 400 minutes plan and unlimited blackberry data?

2. i dont want to make my monthly payment for the 400 minutes and blackberry unlimited data plan. i just want to refill my flex credit. i see a domination of $10, $25, $50, $100 when i tried to recharge online. which one is the best value? cuz when i was using prepaid if u purchase $100, it is about $.10/min. but if i were to purchased the $10, it would be for $.25/min. does this also apply to my flex credit?

3. also does my flex credit ever expired? cuz when i was using prepaid for t-mo, my minutes expire after one year if i dont refill it before the expiration date.

thx in advance

well according t-mo...flex credit can be used for when u used up your minutes or u dont want to continue paying ur monthly bill. so any1 here can confirm how long can i used the flex credit for? it said on the t-mo website that if u dont pay ur monthly bill, it will go into suspension mode and it said u can use ur flex credit to make call. but for how long?

1 - Your phone will work for some things. Your data will not work, and you will pay $.20/min for all calls. Eventually, your line will be cancelled, because you have technically not paid your bill. This usually happens after two missed months.

2 - The rates you are finding do not apply to Flexpay at all. It is always a flat rate of $.20 per minute or message. As stated above, your line will eventually be cancelled if you do Flex account refills only and do not pay the bill.

3 - Your refills do not expire, unless your account in cancelled.

My advice to you is to pay the amount to restore your account and then make any modifications to your plan. This will be much cheaper than doing Flex account refills.

i found my answer on t-mo website...and it states the following:

"What if I’m on a month-to-month service agreement and short on cash?
If you don’t pay for an upcoming service cycle by your due date, you can still use your phone at a rate of 20¢ a minute if you have funds in your FlexAccount. Your service will be canceled if you don’t make a payment or use your phone at all for 90 days."

that mean as long as i make a phone call within the 90 days period, it will still be active. am i wrong?

Perfect. 90 is the magic number then. You have to make an actual payment to your bill, not your flex account, within 90 days. I'm confused as to why you don't want to pay the bill and just change your plan. You'll pay much less versus doing Flex account transactions.
