Default So Sad just got my 8900 and Tmo is kicking me to the curb

Ya I moved in Dec and tmo said I was ok here even though I was on a usa comnet tower.
But now I get a letter in the mail saying they are ending my contract due to living in a romming zone
I just got my my curve 8900 which I love sooooo much I have to kiss it good bye.
The problem is in this town the only carrier that will take me on is Alltel or some random carrier
Called pioneer. The only bbs with them are from the stone age compared to my Jave.
I need help I think I might go with a HTC touch pro. I figure carry this for a time till the merger
Is complete and hope I can upgrade to the latest generation bb. If anyones got some words of
Wisdom for me let me have it.

As long as there is a GSM carrier there, you can use your 8900. It will need to be unlocked. It sounds like the carrier has BBs so they should have BB data plan for you to sign up for. You should be good to go in that case.

If they sell to T-Mobile then why is T-Mobile getting rid of you?

Its been happenin a lot lately. Your prob the 9th person I've heard had this occur.I found out that tmobile ends cintracts w/someone if they are roaming 80% or more of the time. Apparently free roaming is not also unlimited roaming. Business-wise I can understand the reasoning behind it but its still pretty crappy. I'd see if alltel will hook u up w/ a free berry w/ new activation

Do you have to give back your 8900 or do you get to keep it since they are the ones terminating the contract?

ACTUALLY not all of Alltel is going to Verizon....only some. The remaining markets are going to ATT. 15 states are going to ATT during the merger....the info is on the Alltel site. Just clarification....many think its all Verizon and may be disappointed later.
