Default Should I get a 9700?

I'm looking to get a Blackberry within the next week or so.

Should I get a 9700 or is there something new that's coming very soon?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank for the response... I'm tired of my T-Mobile Wing, it's slow even with a cooked ROM.

The only thing I'm gona miss is the touch screen, but I guess you can't have everything.

I've enjoyed my 9700 immensely so far. I'm sure you'll like it too!

If you want a touch screen, wait for the Cliq XT.

Wait for the slider, if you can. Bigger screen.

If I were you, I would wait for the slider. You get touch screen and physical keyboard.
