Default Set up unlocked Tour on Tmobile

Okay, I want to preface this post by saying that I am not the most tech savy girl, and so I am probably making a lot of really dumb mistakes/getting confused by things that should not be this confusing. That being said:

I recently became the owner of a new, unused Blackberry Tour. I was given it for free by a woman I babysit for (the actual story is very convuluted but basically she was given this phone as a replacement for one that she broke but ended up deciding to buy a new Bold while she was at the Verizon store picking it up and so the new tour has never been used before. Or something along those lines. But anyway, she gave me a new tour, in the box.) I've been rocking a Samsung Gravity for the past year so needless to say I was very excited about this unexpected and FREE upgrade...

the only problem is I am a Tmobile customer and locked into a contract until next August. I managed to unlock the Tour and set it up so far as that I have been using it for texting and calls for the past two days with no issues, but I can't get any of the other features (email, web browsing) to work and I can't figure out how to do so, despite great effort and studying these boards.

I guess what I'm hoping for here is some "Blackberry for Dummies" instructions on how to get MMS and internet browsing & all onto this phone, like what do I need to add to my current t-mobile plan, what downloads do I need. I've found instructions other places but had difficulty following them so I hoped by asking directly I might get better results.

Thanks in advance!

There is a how-to thread in the Storm forum for getting all features working with TMO and the same steps will work with the Tour. It's a very helpful resource.

If this is an unlocked AT&T Tour, you will not be able to get 3G, and UMA is a big pain to enable (as you risk bricking it in the process).

Just FYI

AT&T never had a Tour. It was carried in the US by Sprint and Verizon only. This particular one is a Verizon model, as stated in the first post. The same rules apply though: no 3G speeds, EDGE only.
