Saw that yesterday on Android and Me, looks like a good phone. I'm interested in hearing about the HTC Vanguarg.

Definitely looks like a sweet phone. I read that T-Mo is testing UMA on Android handsets. If this one has UMA...then this is my next phone.

P.S. IF T-Mo USA gets this phone...

I really want UMA on an Android device also -- UMA is the key reason I can use my blackberry at home and in my home office (in the basement) for business. It would definitely be an impact to have to give up UMA if I were to leave Blackberry...

I'm not really feeling the keyboard design on it. Of course design can change before it's released.

It's the same keyboard layout as the MyTouch Slide 3G.

It actually has a better keyboard than the MT3G Slide. I played with the Slide today at a store and I didn't like how the top rows letters and numbers where the same size. There was no color to differentiate the letters from the numbers either. Then again, it's just me but others might love it. The Vision looks sweet though.

I too am interested in this rumored phone, but only if it has UMA. If not, then this might be EOL for me with T-Mobile. I have a lousy signal at my house, and UMA is the only thing that saves me down in this gulley where I live. The Samsung phone interests me, but with no UMA, what's the point?

Cannot guarantee anything other than Blackberrys at this time having UMA. The have been credible rumors of HTC handsets playing with UMA again. HTC has previous handsets that have had UMA available.

Wondering what the difference is from this to the mytouch slide? Also UMA is a necessity for me as well....

I am waiting also to see if this comes with UMA. With SOS at my house on whole first floor considering changing carriers when contract expires in November. I like T-Mobile but like dependable service better.

Heh...it seems most of us are in the exact same boat with the whole UMA issue. We're all waiting for a UMA enabled Android handset. Unfortunately all we can do is to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. I was reading how some of you are considering switching carriers at the end of your contracts. Well truthfully I wouldn't blame any of you for that. I am not currently under contract, but I will stay with T-Mo for the time being. I know the expression "you get what you pay for" when it comes to another carrier's coverage. I don't make enough money to be spending a hundred bucks a month with Verizon OR AT&T. This is the primary reason I came back to T-Mo in the first place. I suppose the new tiered data plans with AT&T (along with my corporate discount) WOULD save me quite a bit over Verizon, but I DO like T-Mo, and I will wait and see what rabbit they can pull out of their hat before I go running off to someone else.

Default I like T-Mobile a lot

The fact that their prices are reasonable with mostly excellent coverage everywhere I go. Good customer service in my experiences with them.

And I agree that the other carriers charge WAY too much, so I am not keen to switch, believe me. Only reason I think of Big Red is because my family is on their family plan. But the unlimited data plan that my husband has with his Droid will not be offered to me in 2011 when my contract is up.

I know UMA is a possibility, but it may be too soon for this next HTC phone.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed as I continue to coast with my reliable 8900.
