Default Are replacement phones new or refurb?

if there is something wrong with my BB and request a replacement phone from tmo, would they send out a brand-new phone or just a refurbished one?

TIA

In the past, my replacements have always been new.

Depends on how old the current phone you have is, and if it's a warranty exchange or an insurance replacement.

Do not expect a new phone if you are close to end of the year you can get it replaced.

If it's within the 14 to 90 days of getting your phone, you pretty much will get a new phone (MOST) of the time.

Also most people would not be able to tell the diff between a new phone and a refurbished one, if the new phone had a scratched housing on it, and the refurb had a brand new housing on it.

That seems like it took more time than usual.
