Default Reception and contract issues

So here is my problem: I received a letter from tmobile last week stating I had been roaming a lot and the charges apparently racked up. Tmobile said they pay the charges but no longer wish to have me as a customer due to this issue. I am from Philadelphia but go to school in a small college town in southeast Ohio. When at school I tend to always be on ATTs network since tmobile has absolutely no coverage there. I didn't think this was an issue but apparently now it is. I'm home now, so no roaming and I called CS to explain my issue to them. They offered to unlocked my 8900 and let me out of contract without an ETF. Sounds good right? But not really for me being as though I love tmobile. They have good priced plans and CS has always tried to help me. I have one semester to finish up then I am out of Ohio for good. I've been part of a family plan under tmbile for over 6 years and really don't want to lose that. What is everyones opinion on what I should do? I know when I go back to school this little issue will pick back up again and I don't want to be cut loose from tmobile or have to keep my phone off all the time. Your opinions are much appreciated

If T-Mo wants you out then they are gonna toss you out (or start hitting you with roaming charges). You could get another phone from AT&T or maybe get an ATT SIM for your 8900, and use that at school and switch SIMs when you go home.

T-mo's offer is fair and I understand that you don't want to change, but you are kind of stuck (assuming you done want to change schools)

Only 1 more semester? Wow.

In that case, if you don't want to leave tmo, get a prepaid SIM for ATT and use that while at school.
