Question Quick question about tethering costs

I have a curve 8900 on TMO with an unlimited data and messaging plan. There is an option to connect my MacBook Pro to my BB and use its data connection, but idk if it would make my bill skyrocket. Sometimes I'm on the train and want to use the internet from my laptop, but metra trains dont have wifi...yet. and the BB browser is just a pain... I'd rather use my notebook. Does TMO make u get a separate plan for your laptop or can I just use my bb to tether w/my mac and use the unlimited data from my phone?

Tethering on Tmo Blackberries is included with the data plan. Just call Tmo from a phone other than the berry and they will set you up.

There are instructions for tethering on CB that I followed. It was pretty easy to set up and it works well. I've been using it regularly for 6 months and have had no extra charges. Works great when no wifi is available.

Takes a couple of minutes to set up but, once everything is set up, it's pretty easy to use. And it is included in your BB data plan.

Just don't expect wifi speeds. There is a noticible difference in connect time.

I just spoke with CS last week on this, and as long as you have the unlimited data plan, there's no extra charges involved at all with tethering. Unlimited truly means unlimited.
