Default Questions about moving SIM card to another device.

Hello,

I have a few questions about moving SIM card from my 8520.
Here's the problems,I got my 8520 about 3 months ago and fell in love with it.
But, there's a few things that I dislike about this phone and that is:

- No 3G function
- No GPS
- 2MP camera and no flash

Just about 2 days after I got my 8520, the new 9780 was released.
I slammed my face real hard because I could have got the new 9780.
Now, I'm planning to buy it from T-Mobile(Which cost $449).

Okay, here's my questions:

1. If I buy 9780 and put my 8520 SIM card, will the 3G function in 9780 works or do I have to change the SIM card and pay an additional fee for it?
2. Will prepaid SIM card works in my 8520? (I'm planning to give my 8520 to my mom)

Thanks for the help,
Michi

Yes you can just pop in your sim card and you're good to go.

If your mom uses tmo prepaid, then yes, it will work.

Ditto what Artemis said

On another note.... If it was only 2 days why didn't you just take it back and get what you wanted? You had 14 days to change your mind. You MIGHT have had to pay a restocking fee at most. My local tmo stores charge about a $10 restocking fee
