I really want an upgrade to a new phone but I am under a 2 year contract so I won't be able to get it with the 2 year contract price. However, there is another line on my plan and that line does not use internet. Do you think I can use that line to upgrade to the new phone that I am wanting with the cheapest internet. ($10) and cancel the internet then use the phone on my line? My line has a data plan already. I would really appreciate it if you can help me out. Thanks in advance!

If the another line you're talking about is eligible for an upgrade but yours is not, I'm sure you can have TMO use that upgrade for your line. By signing another two year contract, I'm sure you'll be eligible for the newer plans out there. I got my 9700 by using someone elses upgrade on my family plan about 1 1/2 years ago. You just have to get a representative that's having a good day. I don't know about now because it seems TMO is making a lot of changes. I couldn't even get through customer service last night for 35 minutes so I hung up. Everytime I call, I have to wait more than 30 minutes. TMO has gone the sh*thole I'll tell you.
