Default Problem setting up email on an Unlocked Storm

I have an unlocked Storm on Tmo with a BB internet plan. I cannot configure my email because Tmo says you have to go to "My Tmobile" from your phone and configure it there. Well, everytime I do I get a message that I cannot access MyTmobile from this device. Is it because the Storm is not a Tmobile phone??? Does anyone here has an unlocked storm with Tmo and succesfully set your email?
I know I could just call Tmo and say this but I want to make sure it's possible before... (At the beggining some reps didn't want to help because I had an unlocked phone, don't want to come across any other of them if I could do it by myself).

Thanks in advance!

I can't access My T-Mobile from my device either and I have a T-Mobile 8900.

Do you have a BB data plan? You should log into the tmo site from your PC and set it up through there.
Have your phone selection to be a BB, like the Curve or something so you'll get access to BIS.

I'm using an unlocked Storm 9530 and I got the emails to set up fine. Here is what I did. I followed the directions I found in the forums for setting the storm up on tmobile. Then i called Tmobile and told them that I was having difficulty accessing the BIS from their website, which is true...it's acting up right now. I told the CS rep that I had a different blackberry that I had began to use and I needed her to update my IMEI and PIN number and resend the service books to this new phone. She did, and within a couple minutes all the emails I had previously set up on the BIS came through on my phone.

USE MY SIGNATURE.....you have a non tmo branded phone so youll need to complete the update just search the forums under tmobile storm and itll tell you how.....

then once your complete with that use my sig to follow how to resend service books and youll be good....and yes i have the storm and yes it works....
