Would I need the blackberry data plan still?

The "Web" part of those talk/txt/web plans include smartphone of any kind...BB, Android, whatever.

Thank u one more thing do you know when T-mobile will release the 5.0! I tried to do it my self but i f***Ked my bb up and had to get a new one

No ETA for 5.0 yet. I've had to run the leaked version on my 8900s
