Default phone upgrade price with contract extension

about 3 months ago i signed up for a 2 year contract w/ t-mobile and was wondering if they would allow me to purchase another phone at the new contract price if i extend the contract another 2 years....i am just asking because att allows it

with tmobile, you have to wait 22 months to get the phone at the "new contract price", before that its full price.

Anything before 22 months is considered a "partial discount". With this discount, you extend your contract for another 2 years and save 40-70 dollars (pending the handset) on the FULL retail price.

Exactly. You can upgrade at anytime just the discount isn't as great.

the closer you get to the expiration date of your plan then the better the discounts will be. they also charge a $18 upgrade fee, are you sure att allows it? i'm sure people would be constantly getting new iphones and selling them

The full discount isn't as good as the new contract price, which I feel is a rip off but for all I know all carriers do that.
