Default Pearl 3g: who do you believe?
I was just in a T-Mo store and one associate said that they were getting the new Pearl and the guy standing right next to him said nope. He said that the Rim rep had just been in. But they are getting all these "cool" new phones in so why would you want a Pearl. Sheez.

Haha, that's kind of funny. I wouldn't believe either. Why would store reps know of new releases LONG before tech blogs? It's my experience that it's all rumor until SOMETHING gets leaked to the tech blogs, then the reps start knowing/talking about it, and THEN it's released.

The guy was another rep or just a customer?

The 9100 has been built with AWS W-CDMA inside. T-Mobile is probably going to get it.

They were both T-Mo employees in the Redmond, WA. corp store.

I wouldn't believe either one, but the guy who said "nope" is probably just trying to sell you something else.
