Default Pay as You Go or Prepaid Question

If I were to buy one of the TMO prepaid or pay as you go phones, can I just insert a sim and use it like a regular cell phone from TMO? I'm not due for an upgrade and I need a phone to hold me over for a few months. Thanks for your help!

Yes you can, my son breaks a phone every few months.

The best deal is at Sam's Club, the Nokia 1680 is $9.87.

They have what is called "flex pay" as well, which is what I am on. I am using the BB curve 8320. Flew pay allows you get just about any device you want including BB's and slides. Straight prepay limits the types of phones/devices you can get.

She was asking about the phones it self if you are able to use a "To Go" phone.

To the OP

Tmobile Prepaid phones and "Contract Phones" Are the same thing. There is no difference in them at all. The only change is when you put in a Contract SIM and a PREpaid SIM

Yes, you can purchase a To Go phone at Target and/or Walmart and use it.
