Would T-Moble honor my BB Web & Msg 400 plan on a new individual account in my name? | You can do the upgrade whenever you like, as it will not make a difference. The contract on the other family lines does not change during the upgrade of your line as long as the family rate plan is not changed.
Will T-Mobile honor that rate? The short answer is "probably not", for two main reasons. That rate applies to grandfathered plans only, and once you go to an individual plan, you will have to go on one of the new rate plans. Secondly, if you upgrade to a new smartphone, your web plan will probably need to be switched to a "required" version of the data plan, and I don't believe there is a required version of the web/400.
With that said, if you do the upgrade before the family plan is split up, there is a chance that whatever required data package you end up on will be overlooked by the rep who eventually switches you to an individual line, assuming the computer does not detect the error. If this happens, take it as a bonus, because it is not supposed to happen this way
