For right now it is T-mobile, but AT&T will be rolling out pretty good updates hopefully soon as well. T-mobile just finished upgrades to HSPA 7.2 across the 3G network. Not sure how the 3G is in your area, but for me it's pretty good (covers home, work, families)

Depends upon where you live. Check your coverage map to see which. If you are in an area with T-Mobile 3G coverage, then T-Mobile has the fasted 3G coverage.

Depends where you are, as K Bear said.

You can be sure though, that in most (if not all) metro areas, ATT 3G is really terrible. Their network is really bogged down and congested.

T-Mo 3G may not be everywhere but it's much faster. If it's in your area, go for it!

Also, while not a big deal to most people, both AT&T and T-Mobile allow you to use data while on a call if you're in a 3G area. It comes in handy sometimes.

HSPA+ is not active in all markets yet there slick.

T-Mobile will be done updating from coast to coast by the end of 2010.

I know for a fact they are still testing HSPA+ here in cincinnati ohio....last night i was getting speed test of 13,000k/bits + per second download, and today i'm in the 600-700k/bit range.... thats not HSPA+ speeds.

I've been collecting speed tests for the bb 9700 here if you want some sample data for different carriers and cities. Do a number of tests in a row, as they vary greatly from minute to minute. (And which test you run.)
