Old $59.99 plan gone?
So i just found out that Tmobile $59.99 plan which consists of
1000 anytime
Unlimited Text
Unlimited BB
is gone
, anyone have this plan? i asked a lot of bb users and most ddnt know about this plan, i want to see how many grandfathered users there are in here
Tmobile changed its plans Nov 16 2008 afaik - 01-06-2009, 06:18 PM #2
I have that plan. It was called BlackBerry minutes and mail BIS. I love it! And the included tethering rocks my socks! Has saved me from adding internet to pile of bills.

Yup, that's the plan I'm on too! It's great, cuz I barely talk anymore, just IM, text, email... hahhaha
I want to look into tethering too... seems like a good idea, and I could sure use that $50 a month I waste on internet... - 01-06-2009, 06:26 PM

Man I want this plan so bad lol. Wonder if there's anyway I could get it even when they're not offered anymore. I have luck with sprints old plans and I'm not sure if I cud do the same with tmobile
What I did with sprint is that the current plan holder mirror the same plan on his/her account therefore a duplicate plan and that plan will be transferred to a new user via 3 way call with a customer rep. Any tmo reps can chime in on this?

Oh! That's the same I pay and I only get 300 anytime but I get unlimited weekends. That's really all that changed from the plan I'm on and the one you are talking about. I'd ove the plan ya'll are talking about if someone can figure if there's a way.

damn!!

The Minutes and Mail plan is gone....
well, I knew the whole "3G is coming to TMo" thing would end up with us getting our rates hiked.
I didn't even think about looking recently... and I did not even notice. I knew all of the data plans got re-done, but never even looked into the Minutes & Mail plans. I guess I can't recommend that to anyone any longer

Yup, too bad the BlackBerry Mins plan is no longer around. When I got it, it included unlimited text messages of all types. The 1000 mins helps, just wish it included unlimited UMA calling. Oh well can't have everything (yet).

i wonder if anyone here who has the plan can try to duplicate it by calling CS. Sprint can duplicate old plans, wonder if Tmo can do the same

Howdy Phishgirl,
That is just how it is, sometimes they offer plans with this included and sometimes not. But if you have unlimited email or BBM you can send pictures that way.

big favor for fellow crackberry users, can anyone ask if they can successfully duplicate their plan if they call CS? i know sprint does it via retentions.
Im in need of this plan badly

You can get a 10% discounted TM plan and low price phones
by free joining
Freelancers Union :: Platform for an Independent Workforce
"Receive 10% off monthly recurring fees, equipment discounts on new activations, and more."
(Others have said just give freelancer a throwaway email address and phone otherwise they will haunt you)
Once you have their membership # you can use it on TM no problem - 01-20-2009, 03:34 PM

my school offers a 15% off so thats no problem, what i need is obtaning the plan, and the only way to do so, is for some fellow crackerry user to mirror his blacberry minutes and mail plan and transfer it over to me. I dont seeany blacberry minutes and mail plan over at celltradeusa and cellplandepot i messged the sellers and no reply. So the only way i cud get one is through a user who grandfathered that plan. Retention wont do anything as i will be a new customer.

how does 'mirror' work? and, does US TM have roll-over or grandfathered BB plans? - 01-21-2009, 10:22 PM
