Next Blackberry? Bold After January 1, 2009!!!!

To while paying my bill, I ask the rep what is the next Blackberry and he said it was the bold after the first of January. He stated that Verizon contracted with RIM to have it exclusively for a 190 or so days and then tmobile will release it.

At&t has the bold exclusively, not Verizon. At&t has yet to even release it.

Customer reps will say anything to keep their business. It's part of the whole retail industry

Customer service reps are not reliable sources when it comes to handset releases lol I get a lot of customers coming into my store touting info they get from them like its scientific fact lol

t-mo's a great company. They've saved me a fortune over the last five years on call. Great service, too. If I'd had to pay Verizon's outrageous fees and put up with their crippling of their devices I would have gotten two tin cans and a string by now.

Dude why believe the reps? We all know that every carrier is getting a exclusive berry! Stop believing the reps its getting annoying, it would make no sense for verizon to get it if they are getting the storm! Think think!! And at&t just had the bold release party thing

I've been with Sprint, ATT, Verizon, and TMO.

Out of them all TMO by far has the best customer service, best prices, and depending on where you live the best coverage (yes, BETTER than Verizon - at my work Sprint, ATT, and Verizon has 2 bars. TMO has five.).

Funny how someone that doesn't have TMO is posting in the TMO board. Move along troll.

Hahaha that's funny. I was with Verizon once upon a time getting nickled and dimed. I walked into the store once and the guy behind the counter was using his shiny new Pearl (they had just come out with Tmo). I commented that it was strange he was an emloyee but not using their service. He stared at me for a moment and then stuttered he got it unlocked so it would work with his Verizon network...

Lmao that's funny. I have had all of the services even tmo for 3 years back when the first non color sidekick was out. Verizon has better coverage and yes you happen to have your job where your next door to the tmo tower but yea. Lately verizon has had good customer service but I'm sure everyone does. It depends on the rep you get. Verizon just gave me 200$ credit because I went to ATT and had an iphone for 3 days.
Prices of phone. Yes tmo is usually cheaper but not always. I got my curve for 85$ brand new from verizon.
So all it is, is opinions on difference by your experience.
