new BB

I am a bit new to reading these forums and wanted to ask you guys if T-Mobile was coming out with any new BB within the next few months. I've had the 9700 for more than a year, and I like getting a new phone every 10 months - 1 year. I didn't get the 9780 since its similar to the 9700. I strayed and got the Nexus S but returned it after a few days; it was a nice phone but the battery life was horrible and the email/messaging isn't as good as BB.

Any info would be great. Thanks.

No word on anything yet... Lots of speculation on new phones. Nothing set in stone and especially for Tmo.

while i am still satisfied with my 9700 i must admit i'm getting a bit restless myself...having seemingly nothing on the blackberry horizon has caused me to consider looking at other options. let's just say i hope they give us something to be excited about soon...

Trying the Nexus S was exciting. The web browsing was was easy and lightning fast, the multimedia was fantastic, and Android Market had so much to choose from. I was worried about using the virtual keyboard, but its so intuitive that I typed much faster on that than the physical keyboard on my 9700. However, the battery life was a deal-breaker for me. BB is such a reliable and utilitarian device, especially since I make lots of calls on it.

But as technology advances, I really feel BB is becoming more antiquated. Sure it has some great aspects that few devices are better (email, battery life), but there is nothing new on the horizon to give me hope that BB will come up with something groundbreaking and exciting.
