Yes... IIRC it's only like .25 cents per though.

I looked up on google and it says it is free. And some say it will cost money. On the tmo site it says any number is included in the plan as long as you are in the us. I am so confused!

Are we talking specifically Canada, or any text outside of the US?

I know it costs extra when my wife texts to the UK, but I assume Canada wouldn't be any different since it's "outside the US".

I would research it further for you, but it's 1:25am and my body says it's time to sleep.

Well just Canada. Has anyone texted on hand and has actual experience? And thanks for the fast replies. I appreciate it.

If you are reading that it's free on a t-mobile website go with that, and if there is a problem and you are charged just refer back to that website and get the charge removed.

Yes, it is .20 for every one sent to Canada from the U.S. even if you have unlimited bundle...It is free to receive them, though, as long as you have unlimited.

stillsmyelin is correct.

All international texts sent (to any country) costs .20 each. This includes Canada.

Received international texts come out of your monthly bundle...which for you is unlimited so they are free.

Anything outside of the nation is a cost, just like with most carriers. If you look up the specific country on T-Mobile's website, it'll display the calling rates and texting rates for each country.
