Default MyFaves questions?

If I have a contact selected in MyFaves and that contact calls me from that number and block his number, does it work? Or it's debited towards my plan.

Thanks.

i'm pretty sure that its debited towards your plan, the contact has to show in their system as actually hitting your receiver otherwise.

Any call that comes in to you, that shows up as unknown/private/blocked is a debited call, no matter if they're in your myfaves or not. The only thing you can do is have anyone in your myfaves add the unblock digits to your phone number (either program it into their contact lists or punch it in manually when they call you), otherwise you will be debited each time they call you.

Or set up a system where they call you and you call them back or they txt you and you call them. Or drop them from your myfaves and don't answer blocked calls. The only other option is to upgrade to an unlimited calls plan, that way it won't matter.

I could say is that what I have seen online. I have my home phone number set as one of my myfaves and when they call my cell phone it shows up unknown. When I go to see on mytmobile online it show restricted and next to it it show the myfaves number and I never been charged any minutes when I recurve calls from my home. So no you won't get charged I'll post a picture later to prove my statement.

Everyone here pretty much covered it. Your phone must register the exact number you have listed as a Faves contact for it to be a free call. Blocked numbers do not register on the network, so it's treated as a normal call. Same this applies when someone calls you from a large phone network, such as a business, and the caller ID shows the main number. For example, your friend at company X has the phone number 555-8765 but when they call you it shows the main switchboard number of 555-1000. In either situation, you would need to end the call and call them back at the number listed as a Faves contact
