Default MyFaves Option

Hello,

Is it possible to addon MyFaves as an option to the new plans?

I think they will let you keep your my faves for the new 500 and 1000 min plans. However, if you want to switch to the Even more plus you will have to pay a $35 activation fee and you will keep the contract if you're already in one.

UPDATE: I take back my statement. You don't get to keep your actual MyFaves plan. They, however, let you keep your MyFaves INTERFACE for free for easy one touch dialing to your myfaves contacts. Which is basically BS.

That sucks. No new plans for me then. I am fine with my 1800 mins and MyFaves + Google Voice

The only thing that you can do is keep the myFaves interface (the wheel) if you really liked it that much. It will still come out of your normal minutes and you won't have unlimited calls to your myFaves, but some people like the interface. This option doesn't cost anything.

uhmm, why have they not informed customers of this and I HIGHLY doubt they will discontinue something that gets them customers. They cant change a contract with someone WITHOUT informing its members and I have not been informed of any changes in my plan

if they do end this i am switching to at and t

I can't speak to whether they'll somehow grandfather you in to some rate structure that makes sense for you. Normally T-Mobile and most other carriers allow you to keep plans you have when new ones are released (grandfathering).

But I can assure you that MyFavs is dead and buried and will not be offered to new customers in the future.

If you already have myfaves, don't worry you're grandfathered.

It just won't be offered to new customers.

They have already done this. So if you already have MyFaves, you don't need to worry, unless you plan on changing to a new plan. No need to inform anyone of anything, unless they plan on moving away from any grandfathered plan that currently has Myfaves tacked on to it.

Now it's possible that they may bring it back from time to time as an addon for plans that do not have unlimited mins. But for now it's gone again.

One of the CSRs I spoke with advised me not to change my plan. He said everything on my account is grandfathered. I have a myFaves for Families 1800 mins, the $19.99 unlimited data plan for the Sidekick which is no longer offered, the $24.99 unlimited data only for Blackberry, and the $24.99 Unlimited Messaging for Families.
