Mobile broadband. Usage quotes please.

This can be moved if in the wrong place but I need tmobile people answers so posted it here.



Does anyone else have the mobile broadband? I currently have 2gb $19.99 plan but am wondering exactly how much more it will take me to be able to play you tube and browse more. Abouthow much can I get out of 5gb? Can I get some examples on usage?

And also if I were to get throttled... What does that ACTUALLY mean in real speak. I assume it drops down to EDGE.... but is that like the speed of my 8900 edge on my phone?

I just tested the throttled speed las month by purposely hitting the 2GB mark and it definitely gets slow. My bold 9900 was actually almost unusable if i had the 4G radio turned on. Web ran at about 32k and the worst part was the pages would lock up constantly and they just wouldn't load. The good news was, once I was throttled I switched my radio to 2G and my browser was much more stable. Even tho my connection was slow I was still able to load mobile websites like m.crackberry in a few seconds. I also gained quite of bit of battery life since my 4G radio was off.
