Default Mobile backup not working

I have a Bold 9700 with the last os 5.0.0.586 and with the mobile backup, it will work after u upgrade, but after that it doesn't.

I was wondering if anybody else had this problem, and what was causing it.

Tim

To my knowledge, Mobile Backup has never worked on the 9700. I'm currently on .656 and it doesn't even have that option. I did see it on .586 and it worked for the first time after upgrading the OS to .586 but after that it stopped working. TMO is suppose to fix a few things, including the Mobile Backup feature, with their official .586 that was delayed. I have no idea why it doesn't work. You're not alone because all of us have the same issue.

Ever since I got my 9700 I could only get MB to work one time, right after doing an OS upgrade. After that it failed. I never called TMO support since .330 didn't include it (according to the box). Now that .586 includes it and the same thing happened I called tech support and they couldn't help so they created a ticket. Haven't heard back so I plan on calling tomorrow.

Earlier today, I downgraded to .586 from .656 thinking if would solved the Mobile Backup issue. Guess what? It didn't. Wasn't this official TMO .586 OS SUPPOSE to fix these bugs? It's BS. LOL Waste of my time!

MB is suppose to be enabled with 586, it only works initially and then the option is gone. myFaves was also suppose to be enabled in this update and so far no word on that. 586 has tons of issues.
