I called CS (for an unrelated issue) and got transferred to Loyalty. The rep was nice and really seemed to know her stuff!

I asked about Project Dark. She said she doesn't know the prices yet but knows what the plans entail. I asked her if BB/Android/Smartphone data was included in the high-end unlim voice/text/data plans and she said yes. You just have to indicate what phone is yours.

I know you have to take things with a grain of salt but we'll see.....!

so basically you're saying not only will I get my Onyx soon from TMO, but also entirely change my plan up where I just pay $50 flat for everything unlimited including data, messages and minutes? Wow, this will blow all those 3rd party phone companies away

Just remember, this came from a Loyalty rep so I'm hoping she's on the up and up but we'll see! I haven't been able to confirm this with anything else. And I still don't know the prices!

Let's hope she's right!

Woot! I have my fingers crossed and hope tmo does this! It would really be a good deal to have unlimited voice/data/text for $50. **** I'd even be happy to pay $60 for a package like this. Kudos to Tmo if they do this

I think blackberry data will be running a bit more than WinMo and Android data plans. You usually pay a premium on those since RIM gets a cut.

If that were true, why are they all the same price now? (24.99 for BB, android, smartphone)

Let's face it, anything under $99 (SEP) and T-Mo has a winner.

I think T-Mo, contrary to popular belief is on the up and up if they play they're cards right. Unlike Sprint, who's just giving away the house, T-Mo is cutting plans while still getting new smartphones under their wing (think MT3G, 8900, Driftwood, 8520). That's the smart play. If they keep up their game, and their CS, and market the **** out of Project Black/Dark, I think they're number 3 in no time.

I agree. T-Mobile still gets a lot of good phones AND has low prices.

However I'm not confident in their ability to market the deals. They really aren't good at advertising. Heck I didn't even know UMA existed until I came to these forums!

I'm not too surprised that T-Mobile didn't market UMA more, unfortunately. It's awesome when you stay on a UMA signal. It's the handoffs that cause problems.

Yeah, it's quite a shame. They really could also market the "9.99 unlimited calls from HOME" thing...how you could drop your landline permanently for just $10/month.

T-Mobile's Project Dark: $99.99 unlimited on Even More, $79.99 on Even More Plus?
