Lower case edge in Phoenix

My wife and I both have 8900's. I have had lower case edge several times since we got the phones (March) while my wife maintains capital EDGE any reason why I would drop to lower case edge for several hours while my wife doesn't? I called T-Mobile the first time this happened and they refreshed me on the network yet it still continues.

Did you ever try pulling the battery and the SIM and then put it all back together?

I have done that and it is a temporary fix. It continues to happen. Twice today as a matter of fact.

You got the phones in March, but how long have you had the sim card? If it's an old sim, try replacing that first.
