Default Looking to switch to T-Mobile, how is coverage in the Northen NJ Area?

Parents are kicking me off the verizon plan which sucks but good things should be coming!

Here's what I've looked at:

Provider: Verizon Wireless
Phone: Blackberry Tour 9630 OR Blackberry Storm 2 9550, both @ $99.99 one time fee
Minutes: 450
Texting: unlimited
Data: unlimited
Cost per month: $89.99 per month
Cost after applicable discounts: 20% starbucks discount = $70 ish + Tax

Provider: AT&T Wireless
Phone: Blackberry Bold 9700 @ $199 one time fee
Minutes: 450 with Rollover, nights start at 9 PM
Texting: Unlimited
Data: Unlimited
Cost per month: $89.99
Cost after Applicable Discounts: Starbucks 20% off OR 15% Student Discount = around $70

Provider: Sprint
Phone: Blackberry Tour 9630 @ $99.99 one time fee
Minutes: Unlimited Mobile to any mobile, 450 anytime minutes (only practically used on landlines)
Texting: Unlimited
Data: Unlimited
Cost per month: $69.99 per month
After applicable discounts: 15% student discount = $60 + Tax per month

Provider: T Mobile
Phone: Blackberry Bold 9700 @ $129.99 one time fee
Minutes: 450 anytime minutes, unlimited tmobile to tmobile
Texting: unlimited
Data: unlimited
Cost per month: $69.99 per month
after applicable discoutns: 15% student Discount = $60 + Tax per month
Note this is for an individual plan, i wouldn't be tied to my uncles. only downside would be on 450 minutes instead of unlimited.

NOW, excluding ANY discounts and taxes, T Mobile is really appealing to me. I Really like that 9700 Bold, and I'm thinking about making the switch this week to it.

How is TMobile coverage in the Northern NJ Area? I am an IT Technician, and I need to be able to have service most of the time.
I'm sick of verizon's crappy internet, that is for sure
I've already checked out how many minutes I use, and I would never surpass 400 under normal usage, so 450-500 is plenty of minutes
Sprint has an advantage because I would be able to call my friends on verizon for free (no minutes use)...
But again, i don't make that many calls, and most of the clients i call are landlines anyways

It pretty much comes down to coverage area. Unless I decide that I need unlimited network to network calling

help me!

Adam

North Jersey is a 3G market for T-Mobile. You shouldn't have many problems with coverage unless your in a building that the signal cannot pass through. That's when you utilize the UMA capability of the phone if you have access to WIFI.

I can personally vouch for at least the Route 22/I-78 area of North Jersey (the area from Phillipsburg to around Clinton, NJ). I've had great signal in this area. I used to work with a person from Jersey City. He had great reception in this area.
