Question Issue w/ data failure on 8900 and Loyaly plan

Monday night after updating Audible and starting a book streaming to kill some time, after I stopped the stream my ability to pull data stopped working. IE, browser couldn't hit pages, gmail, twitter, yahoo app totally died on EDGE.

It's been over 24 hours, w/ several battery pulls, cache clearing, and I can't get any connection (not counting UMA and WIFI).

What's odd, is that I can use the T-Mobile broswer and search for things but trying to go to a URL manually simply times out. Any suggestions?

I got it. After updating the Desktop Manager, it looked at my phone and decided it was tiem for an firmie update and then did unspeakable things to my poor little berry that I cringe wen thinking about.

But it works now.

The same thing happened to me last monday. It went on for an entire week with me calling tmobile, new sims, changing settings, DM stuffN until finally they said they would send me a replacement. Wouldn't you know later that night ... Data magically came back after a week of it being gone. Weird! Happy that you got yours fixed, its a pain!

It's still acting up. YIM won't connect, I deleted it and tried to reinstall but the BB site didn't recognize my browser, I don't have an Internet browser option any more. Other apps are connecting, the BB AppStore thing tells me I need to upgrade to a data plan, and it's still acting wonky on browsing. I'm goign to keep testing and call T-Mo when I get off work.
